Richard Woolley is a writer, musician, academic and former film director. In the late sixties, he played in a rock band called The Voodoo Strutters; in the mid-seventies, he worked as a musician and performer in Red Ladder Theatre; and in the eighties, he wrote and directed a number of films for cinema and television.
